This is an exciting area with a wide range of courses. Our Commercial Hair and Beauty Salons have friendly staff welcoming you to a special atmosphere. Learners perform to a high level of industry standards. The Catering and Hospitality teams have successfully hosted the Young Chef Challenge, judged by Celebrity Chef James Martin, the regional Care Cook of the Year competition with one of our students wining the Highly Commended Award just to name a few. Learners can develop their skills and confidence working with members of the public, whether this is to produce and serve delicious menus or create new hair and beauty styles for clients. Outdoor activities and teamwork are on the main agenda for our Public Services Team. Students learn how to do navigate using Maps & Compasses and develop expedition and leadership skills. Students take part in external visits to establishments associated with public services and are able to learn from key guest speakers' experience. Our brand new outdoor learning area has been designed to take learning out of the classroom. It emphasises the importance of outdoor learning for all our students. The School offers an excellent range of courses and is the perfect starting point for young people and adults interested in a career in Health, Care, Commercial and Public Services.
