This is a recording of one of the new ATI HPSS16 speaker setups that San Francisco has installed to replace their old post WW-II Federal STL-10 system. These speakers play a recording of one of the old sirens and also give a voice announcement. The system has been riddled with both coverage problems and blown speaker drivers. There is a pending lawsuit against the manufacturer, ATI www.atisystem.com for breach of contract at they said they now need to install several dozen more sirens for much $$$ to get the coverage they were supposed to have originally provided. Search for "ATI Siren Lawsuit" to find more information from news sources. You can also find out about other lawsuits filed by nuclear power plant owners by searching for "ATI PPL Siren Lawsuit" or "ATI Indian Point Siren Lawsuit" I was not the one who recorded this video. A friend of mine was in San Francisco and made this video for me.
