Takayuki Sato of Logitech demonstrates the new portable yet rechargeable speaker for iPod and iPhone. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Logitech has unveiled the Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i, a portable speaker dock for the iPod and iPhone. The speaker features an eight-hour rechargeable battery and eight custom-designed speaker drivers, twice that of its previous speaker docks. To bring your music to life, the Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i has two three-inch laser-tuned neodymium drivers for a rich mid range, two half-inch neodymium tweeters for crisp high notes and four two-inch passive radiators for deep bass in a compact design for iPod and iPhone. It also comes with a wireless remote control and also a travel case that has space for the power adapter and remote. The speaker dock is certified through the Made for iPod and iPhone programmes and its dock design works with any iPhone or iPod with a Universal Dock Connector -- no trays necessary. It also supports earlier iPod models (1st generation to 3rd generation) with the Universal Dock Connector, as well as other portable music players and smart phones through the 3.5 mm auxiliary input.
