Well, do you believe, or don't you?! This is not a mod. I replaced some of the standard textures to create the cd player and speakers. The middle part of the cd player is a reskinned furnace. I replaced the smoke effect with musical notes. Pork and coal were reskinned to a CD and a battery, respectively. The music was added after the video was recorded. Making it seem like actual in-game noise was mostly a matter of volume, panning, and very selective reverb/delay. Though there were a few other tricks: For the single speakers the music was converted to mono and run through an EQ to remove the lowend to create a "tinny" low quality sound.
