This is a recording of one of the new ATI HPSS16 speaker setups that San Francisco has installed to replace their old post WW-II Federal STL-10 system. These speakers play a recording of one of the old sirens and also give a voice announcement. The system has been riddled with both coverage problems and blown speaker drivers. There is a pending lawsuit against the manufacturer, ATI www.atisystem.com for breach of contract at they said they now need to install several dozen more sirens for much $$$ to get the coverage they were supposed to have originally provided.
