NB Ive just build another one-May 2010..I think much better...Its a three parter with sound samples..part 2 and the main build is here.. www.youtube.com I decided to build this after trying all amp simulation and being left with a niggling feeling that I was underdoing my guitar playing by not going all-analogue, which is the holy-grail of guitar tone The design is my own ,drawing on other projects I had seen Take 7 pieces of dense wood (I used 1 inch thick mdf) of dimensions: 15(inch)x15 (x3) 15x36 (x2) 17x36 (x2) Cut out hole for speaker and mounting screws(u have to do measurements once u get your speaker through..Im using a Celestion G12T-75 as favoured by Yngwie Malmsteen-my favourite guitarist ever)..I used a compass and ruler etc: Also I put brackets on centre speaker wood section to aid stability ..cutting the drill holes now is very good idea before creating the box Now wood glue box together: drying times lengthy..eg I left mine 48hours.. and voila!( seal with a silicone sealant..make lower box airtight(drying time was about I decided 48hours) put on draught excluder to make lid airtight: put on brackets: mount speaker and foam..The foam I then used to acoustically treat the box was basically 2 inches thick ultimately..(I got egg box foam but I fitted two together to make a slab..much easier to line the box with..):I got 15x15 tiles of foam which fitted box just swell!this was all preplanned! Here is a rough cut of the Christmas Light Show 2008. This was shot in High Definition, to utilize it, click "View in HD" below the video. The song is "Wizards of Winter" by Transiberian Orchestra. I thought I would put some more information on this show: We have two outdoor speakers, which we used until I bought a low-power FM Transmitter that transmits the music over 107.3FM (unused in the area). The speakers are now used for making sure I have it all in sync. The show is located in Gurnee, Illinois. This is only 16 channels so far, we are going to be upgrading to more next year. The "light" total comes to around 2500 lights. This is a really small show compared to others on YouTube. The Projector says 'Happy Thanksgiving', because I had taped this on Thanksgiving. This isn't the final version of the show, I actually made several changes to it. Also, About 30 seconds got cut off in editing this clip, that's why it might seem short to others. This is my first Christmas with Light-O-Rama, and certainly won't be my last.
Here is a rough cut of the Christmas Light Show 2008. This was shot in High Definition, to utilize it, click "View in HD" below the video. The song is "Wizards of Winter" by Transiberian Orchestra. I thought I would put some more information on this show: We have two outdoor speakers, which we used until I bought a low-power FM Transmitter that transmits the music over 107.3FM (unused in the area). The speakers are now used for making sure I have it all in sync. The show is located in Gurnee, Illinois. This is only 16 channels so far, we are going to be upgrading to more next year. The "light" total comes to around 2500 lights. This is a really small show compared to others on YouTube. The Projector says 'Happy Thanksgiving', because I had taped this on Thanksgiving. This isn't the final version of the show, I actually made several changes to it. Also, About 30 seconds got cut off in editing this clip, that's why it might seem short to others. I own the Altec Lansing T612 Digital Speaker for iPod and iPhone (Black) and I was very surprised at how much better the iMT800 sounds. I will admit that for the price difference you should be able to expect better sound...and you can. The iMT 800 sounds very good - about on the same level as a nice rack stereo system. The high notes are crisp and there is strong continuity all the way down to bass. While the bass is not overly deep (effective to 50-60Hz would be my guess) it is more than adequate - the iMT800 does not sound punchy at all - instead the entire frequency response range is nice and smooth. I was very impressed. Other Features - Comes with 5 different adapters to ensure that any model of iPod will work. In my video review I show an iPhone (2nd G), and iPod Touch (2nd G) and an older Video iPod and they all fit nicely onto the iPod Dock. - As you would expect the iPod dock will charge your iPod. - One very nice feature is that when the iMT800 is used with an iPhone it will automatically silence the music when you receive a call - in fact, the ring tone is played at full volume over the Boom Box speakers! (Shown in the video) - Decent remote - it would be a bit nicer with digital display - but it probably isn't worth the extra $$$. - While it is not rechargeable you can use the iMT800 with D batteries - which makes it perfect for taking to the beach,park, or wherever. - Plenty of volume to fill large areas - It comes equipped with a FM radio and the ability to ...

The Heritage Trails Park District of Auglaize County held a Towpath Trail Dedication on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 at 10am at the Noble Township Hall. Several speakers were in attendance along the Miami and Erie Canal to officially open the newest section of the towpath trail in Noble Township. Included were Judge Mark Spess, Auglaize County Probate Court, David Stilwell, President of the Heritage Trails Park District, James Johns, Noble Township Trustee, Steve Dorsten, ODNR, Division of Parks, and Neal Brady, Director,of the Miami-Erie Canal Corridor Association. We'd like to thank Allison Brady, Executive Director of the Heritage Trail Park District, for inviting us to this event. This was an American Hiking Association's "National Trails Day" celebration and also included the Auglaize Outdoor Show.

there was some flaws, MDF wood will swell like that just in moisture alone and most likely got moist from the inside from the port tube, they will stay outside though the cold northern Canadian winter and I expect they will last another season but will be replaced next spring, I will have the bugs worked out by then hehe

Shot this footage of our sound check to give a feeling about the sound quality as I've enjoyed a lot of the videos on YouTube discussing PA equipment and thought I'd throw mine into the mix. We loved these speakers, and the quality of the sound and clarity of the vocals and guitar works great for what we're trying to do with Bockenplautz. We will eventually have 4 K10 speakers - 2 for FOH and 2 for monitors. We're playing it through a Mackie ProFX16 mixer. Recorded 3/31/12 at the Best Place Tavern at the Historic Pabst Brewery, Milwaukee, WI.

Bought a Powerhorn from radioshack and hooked it up to my stereo. 50 watts RMS. Weatherproof. Running off headunit for now. Very loud and very clear. No I don't have it on when driving around. Hifonics TXi6408 amp will be running the Kicker components and when I add another powerhorn the other 2 channels will run the powerhorns. The horns will also be relocated to the front under the grille.

That's just this year, I have a Light O Rama 16 channel board that needs to be sent in to the company for repair that I'll be using next year.
