The Heritage Trails Park District of Auglaize County held a Towpath Trail Dedication on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 at 10am at the Noble Township Hall. Several speakers were in attendance along the Miami and Erie Canal to officially open the newest section of the towpath trail in Noble Township. Included were Judge Mark Spess, Auglaize County Probate Court, David Stilwell, President of the Heritage Trails Park District, James Johns, Noble Township Trustee, Steve Dorsten, ODNR, Division of Parks, and Neal Brady, Director,of the Miami-Erie Canal Corridor Association. We'd like to thank Allison Brady, Executive Director of the Heritage Trail Park District, for inviting us to this event. This was an American Hiking Association's "National Trails Day" celebration and also included the Auglaize Outdoor Show.
