The Logitech S715i offers great sound in a nice small and rechargeable package. While other speakers offer a more reportable Livespeakr Ultraportable Speaker System for iPod/iPhone (Black) and other offer better sound Altec Lansing inMotion MIX iMT800 Portable Digital Boom Box for iPhone and iPod but neither offer the sound and portability of the Logitech S715i. A few features - Sound - much better than expected (especially when plugged in) the sound performance is much better than the Altec Lansing IMT320 inMotion Compact iPod Speaker System and the JBL On Stage Micro II Speaker System for iPod / iPhone (Black) (Which is expected since the S715i is considerably more expensive). I also find the sound fuller than the Altec Lansing T612 Digital Speaker for iPod and iPhone (Black) - The sound performance does degrade when the unit is running off of the battery. The bass is considerably less and the overall volume drops. - The carrying case is pretty basic - a cheap canvas - The remote is also very, very basic it does the job but it certainly is not fancy - I wish it came with an integrated FM radio - it would make sense with the overall portability of the speaker. - I do like the aux input, which allows you to use in device that has a audio output or a headphone jack Final Verdict - The speaker has great sound and while it does have a few shortcomings (like the lack of an fm radio, cheesy remote, and poorer sound performance when operating off of the battery) it is still a ...
