It seems like every couple of months a new tablet comes into the game. Samsung who is not new to the tablet market with the success of the 7 inch Galaxy Tab and getting Android 2.x which wasn't designed for tablets work. Now they are putting their hands in the tablet centric Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS with the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Hardware & Design Samsung is known for great hardware and they built this tablet with some great hardware. The 10.1 inch screen is beautiful to look at and its landscape format is ideal for viewing pictures and video. The tablet is very thin and just 8.9mm thinness and its one of the lightest 10 inch tablets. The black borders around the screen honestly do give it a iPad look which people have seen me with it and asked if it was an iPad. There isn't many buttons or ports on with a proprietary connection port for charging and syncing, 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, power button and volume button. One thing to note on the stereo speakers they do give good sound but you will have to stay head on to hear it well. If you move the tablet to the left or right you'll hear a speaker drop off. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with two cameras. A front facing 2.0 megapixel camera and a 3.0 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and 720p video recording.
